Summer at Lacons® Beauty: DIY Summer Glow Bronzer

It’s our first DIY of the summer at Lacons® Beauty and we’re obsessing over getting that summer glow! This quick and easy DIY will take you step by step on how to make a shimmering, and glowing cream bronzer that is perfect for the whole summer! 

Here’s what you’ll need: 

• Powder Bronzer: Find any powder bronzer you have lying around the house!
• Gold Mica Powder: You can easily find this online but if you don’t feel like purchasing this then you can replace it with any highlighter ( liquid or powder ) you have. All this is doing is adding the “shimmer” effect to your bronzer.
• Coconut Oil
• Face Sunscreen: This is to provide some SPF to the bronzer.
• Small Bowl & Spoon: For mixing!
• Lacons® Plastic Sampling Containers : For storing the finished product.

How to make it: 

Step 1: Start by grabbing your old bronzer and removing it from the pan and into the small mixing bowl. Begin to mix it until it’s a fine powder. 

Step 2: Next, add in a small spoonful of the Gold Mica Powder (Tip: Start with a small amount at first; you can always add more in later if it’s not glowing enough). Stir together with the bronzer 

Step 3: Now, add in a small pump of your face sunscreen and mix together. Take a look at how shimmery your bronzer is. If it feels like it could use a little more then add in a little more of the Mica Powder to boost that glow! (Tip: Don’t worry if the sunscreen isn’t mixing all the way through the bronzer and mica powder mixture, this is normal! It should look like wet sand.)

Step 4: Add in a small amount of coconut oil and mix together. This will give it a creamy texture so it applies evenly onto your face & body. 

Step 5: Now grab your Lacons® plastic sampling containers and store the bronzer mixture into your containers! Now you can take them with you and store them in your makeup bag! 

How to store it: This product does not need to be stored in the fridge. Although, direct sunlight will or heat will cause the coconut oil to melt. (Tip: For a creamier and firmer texture store in the fridge overnight or until desired use) *Product will last up to 3 weeks*
