As the summer season comes to a close, we’re getting ready for the up coming school year at Lacons® Beauty! Today, we’re sharing our back to school essentials, plus how you can use our plastic hinged lid containers to help you stay organized.
Now, we all know the basic back to school essentials like pencils, markers, highlighters, ect. But, some people forget about is things we use day to day like beauty products, self care, & more. These basic everyday essentials can make or break the school year — Trust me!

Cosmetic Bag
To start, my first essential for back to school is a small makeup bag filled with your essential cosmetic products. Hand Lotion is my first necessity. I couldn’t tell you enough how dry my hands would get from the bathroom soap or from art class. Plus- writing all day on that scratchy notebook paper— no thanks! What I liked to do was to get my favorite lotion and put it in multiple Lacons® plastic hinged lid containers. That way I could have mini samples of my lotion wherever I went. Put one in your school bag, pencil case, sports bag- you name it! You don’t have to just use your small plastic containers for lotion- Try other cosmetic products like: foundation, concealer, or lip balm! I like to use my Lacons® containers for anything thats big or bulky to carry around.

Medicine
Now, my next essentials for back to school was Advil, Tylenol, Aleve, or Midol. School can be stressful and some days you’re just not feeling your best. And, that’s why I would have either some Tylenol or Advil on me just incase it’s one of those days at school. As an athlete in school, I would keep a small plastic container full of Aleve in my sports bag to help relieve aches and pain after practice. And ladies, we’ve all been there— Midol is a lifesaver!! I like to label each of my small hinged lid containers with what is inside of them (see below). Or try color coding them!

Pencil Case
And Finally, my last back to school essentials are things for your pencil bag! One way I save money on back to school supplies is by using an extra make up/ cosmetic bag for my pencils, pens, ect. Also, I like to use a Lacons® container to store some extra change for vending machines or snacks while at school. This way you don’t have to dig through your purse or wallet for extra change. One thing I relied on heavily in high school & college was my mini stapler. It was essential for last minute essay prints & homework! But one downside was having those extra staples loosely floating around in my pencil bag. What I did was break apart the staples and store them in small plastic container. Also, I like to store other small things in my Lacons® containers such as, paper clips, hair ties, ect!
