This DIY is so easy and super fun to do. Plus its a perfect craft for kids to get involved with! These little Jack-O-Lanterns are great for giving out while trick or treating; It adds a little Halloween spirit to your everyday candy. Keep reading to find out how it’s made.

Here’s what you’ll need:
- Black Sharpie or Black Marker
- Orange & Black Construction Paper
- Double-Sided Tape and/or Rubber Cement/Glue
- Scissors
- Orange, Transparent, & Black Lacons® Sampling Containers
- Small/ Bite Sized Candies (Pick Your Favorites)
Step One: Creating the Pumpkins
(This step, depending on if kids are helping, is something you could do before hand.) First, We’re gonna start out by making our little pumpkins. Either draw out or trace a pumpkin shape onto the orange construction paper. Next cut them using your scissors. (Make sure they are about the size of a plastic sampling container.) Next, grab your black construction paper and cut out little stems for the pumpkins.

Spooky Tip: Want to save time when making the pumpkins? Try printing out the silhouette of the pumpkins directly onto your orange construction paper. Each one will be the same size and will save you time from having to draw each one!

Try creating some other spooky inspired shapes such as ghosts as well!
Step Two: Attaching the Stems
Next, attach the stems to the pumpkins using whatever method you prefer. For this I’m using Rubber Cement (You can usually find this at any craft store). After you’ve attached all the stems to the pumpkins, set them aside and get ready to draw your Jack-O-Lanterns!
Spooky Tip: If kids are helping out with this DIY, have the pumpkins made before drawing the Jack-O-Lanterns on them!

Step Three: Drawing the Jack-O-Lanterns
This is where you get to really be creative! It’s time to grab your Black Sharpie or Marker and draw the Jack-O-Lanterns! You can draw them anyway you prefer. I have an example below of a few variations of faces. Don’t forget to have fun with it!

Step Four: Fill with Candy
Before we attach the Jack-O-Lanterns we’re gonna fill the containers with candy first. Grab your preferred color of Lacons® containers and put bite-sized candy into each one. I like to use an assortment of Lacons® colors.

Step Five: Attach the Jack-O-Lanterns
The last and final step is attaching the finished Jack-O-Lanterns onto the Lacons® plastic sampling containers. Now get ready to hand out your Jack-O-Lanterns to everyone!
