Today at Lacons® Beauty were getting ready for summer with our DIY Lime & Lemongrass Essential Oil Lip Scrub! Summer is fast approaching and who doesn’t want to get a jump on the summer heat with this soothing, brightening, and exfoliating lip scrub? It’s super quick, easy, and perfect for any girls night.
Let’s start with what you’ll need: Small Mixing Bowl, Spoon, Coconut Oil, Brown or White Sugar, Essential Oils ( We’re using Lime & Lemongrass for this DIY today ), & your Lacons® Cosmetic Sampling Containers.
Now that you’ve got what you need we’ll jump right into how it’s made!
Step One: Get Your Station Ready!
Gather your bowl, spoon, ingredients, and Lacons® Beauty plastic sampling containers into an area to begin mixing your scrub together.
Step Two: Mixing Your Ingredients
Next pour 3 spoonfuls of Brown or White Sugar into your bowl. Brown sugar will exfoliate more, so for a more gentle scrub use White Sugar. Then, get two spoonfuls of Coconut Oil into your bowl and mix together.
Step Three: Add Your Essential Oils
Gather your Lime (Brightens & Cleanses) and Lemongrass (Soothes & Purifys) Essential Oils together and place one drop of each into the mixture in the bowl. Start with one drop and add as much as you would like after (Essential Oils can be a little over-powering sometimes). Mix together.
Step Four: Grab Your Lacons® Beauty Sampling Containers
Finally, grab your Lacons® Beauty plastic sampling containers and place a spoonful into each container. Our high quality materials and hinged lids will keep all of the product safely stored and clean! These are perfect for favors at a Girl’s Night, or a Spa Party with your friends!
